just a random question that has nothing too do with coins but just with the site how many moderators are there and what exactally do they do??? (i'm kinda new too this site so that's y i'm asking)
Coin Talk has three moderators and one site administrator. the moderators watch for spam and rules infractions, and delete, or edit, when necessary. Certain clubs, within the Coin Talk site, have their own moderators. Peter Davis is the site administrator. We are all his guests here.
Feel free to ask anything you like There are 4 moderators - and the site owner of course who is also a moderator. As for what we do - we try to see to it that all members follow the Coin Talk Forum rules. If the rules are broken in a member's post - we either delete the post or edit it appropriately according to the posted rules. Oh yeah - we also try to answer member's questions, enter into discussions of various subjects ( we're members too just like you ), and every now and then make what we hope will be an interesting post of our own
jody526 - National dealer - Satootoko - and myself are the 4 moderators. Peter T Davis is the site owner & administrator. Not sure what you mean by who are the other ones - that's all there is.
True - but only members of those clubs can see the posts made there or make their own post there. These are private areas.
OK, for the last time; Math is not my strong point. BTW, Jason Taylor (jtwax) is the moderator on the "Variety Nickels" forum.
Please just call me Jody. The numbers (526) are part of my eBay ID, and not necessary. I like to be informal, and use my first name.
