The Washington quarter= about 9 X face ($2.25) in silver value, but it fluctuates. Jefferson nickel: $.05 + current metal value, about 7 + cents Buffalo nickel -- if there is a date possibly 50 cents, unless it is a better date, also check for mintmark: reverse (back) at bottom) for a D or S. and the date under the Indian's bust. Merc dime: 1924 all mintmarks in AG (about Good) not much more than silver or about $1.00 (tops).
If that '42 is a silver comp nickel, then it's value would be about 0.70 cents. Of course without seeing the reverse, i can't tell if it's nickel or 35% silver
It would be nice if that Jefferson nickel turned out to be a D/Horizontal D variety. Not much chance of that, though. Still, something worth looking at.
