I've inherited a bunch of coins from my grandparents. Theres a scan below. Are any of them worth anything significant? If you need to see the other side to identify anything, just say so and ill scan it.

Welcome aboard,Quantum Flux. These coins are fairly common coins.I see that a lot of them are silver such as the Canadian 1929 25c. coin & the New Zealand coins (which are very familiar to me,as I am from New Zealand myself).

I don't know the Krause prices of these though,as I haven't got a Krause catalogue with me.

    Aidan.

Welcome, the V-nickels & Buffalo may have some value, but you need to list the dates & mint marks.

Welcome to the forum. There are several pieces of silver in the group and a few coins worth a couple dollars each (the 1929 Canada Quarter is worth $2-3), but nothing you will get rich with.

It's a nice starter set and I hope you will keep it and develop an interest in coin collecting.

There are some Egyptian coins, a few of them are 5 and 10 millemes from British occupation (Hussain Kamil as sultan), and some 10 millemes from King Farouk (1938 is one date I see). The Egyptian issues might be worth $1 each. As others have said its a great starter set, perfect for doing a bit of history searching. I would be quite chuffed if someone handed me this set.

Def. a nice starter set. Add in a ton more common date British coins, and you've pretty much got what was passed down to me from my grandfather he passed. Now I'm 22 and I've amassed a collection far bigger than what I started with!
