It never seems to amaze me that there really are people out there who just have no knowledge about coins and or toning in general. Maybe there are just people who collect or buy these junk as colorful, souvenir coins or something but it simply frustrates me that there are people out there more than willing to say that the coins have NO CHEMICALS, but fail to admit that the coins are artificially toned in some way. More than willing to take an unsuspecting, new collectors money as if it was a kid. Geez, I'll let you guys have some fun watching these "rainbow toned" cents (JUNK).

Are you sure you're not bidding on them? :smile I'm joking, I know you and G. know better and have learned a lot on toned coins but it just bugs me still although I have laid back on the bringing such people out there.

It closed at $45. Take a look at the bidders. Only one had less that 1000 feedbacks. These are not innocent bidders. These are not innocent bidders.

Ugly, the question is where was this album stored? I can only guess. Too bad they looked like nice coins.

I agree with Thad... Those coins aren't toned, they aren't even nice. That is just PMD.
They vandalized those coins in the name of calling them toned.

Somebody needs to point out to eBay that "No Chemicals are used to tone my coins" is a FALSE CLAIM. Oxygen is a chemical. When you heat a coin in air, that's what causes the discoloration, excuse me, "toning".

Well, I always report these so it is actually on the amount of people that do this as well. I say you go in there and report them as well.

Actually, he is flat out lying, these were made using some sort of liquid, chemical agent.....100% guaranteed. Oxygen will only darken copper, it will not cause colors to form.
