quite possibly the dumbest question ever! I'm a noob to paper money.

I found a twenty dollar bill that the number is GF 80418040 B. Is this bill worth saving because it has the 8041 8040 number, like a consecutive count down? I think it is kind of cool, but the experts opinions are needed. Spare the "well if you like it, keep it" crap. Hit it to me straight, is it worth hanging on to. Mind you, the bill has been folded in half and it has been used, not mint condition, but a newer bill without alot of wear. Opinions?

    Spend it.

You would have to look pretty hard to find someone who collects serials who might like that countdown, and would be ok with that condition. Even if you managed to find someone eventually, they wouldn't give you more than $1 or $2 at most over face, meaning it would be a loss for you to sell it online in an auction or listing that would require you to ship it.

I wouldn't say it's a keeper. Even if it was a repeater (eg. 80418041), it would be doubtful if it would generate much interest, IMO.

BTW....not a dumb question at all.
