Quick Redbook question

    I'm sure this is obvious, but I can't figure it out. In my Redbook (2007 edition), there's sometimes an extra number in parentheses before the mintage, like:

    1922....(800)......1,423,543

    For the life of me, I can't figure out what that (800) means. That's a made up example, but I've read the whole book and there doesn't seem to be an explanation about it anywhere. Can someone help me out?

    That is the mintage of proofs issued for that date
