Hi everyone, I'm sorry to bother you all but I have a quick question. I'm really new at this and today is my first day on the boards so be gentle. :)

I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a "quick cheat sheet" on what to look for, other than the obvious "hey that doesn't quite look right".

Also, I'm reading posts and searching for info on the net about P D and S. I'm assuming those are mint locations. However, how do you know what mint the coin is made if it does not have a letter?

And finally.. my true question.... I believe I have a few error coins (a couple of them offset and a few with anomalies) but what about coin rotation on the flip? is that a common error? The one I have is not much, maybe 5 degrees at most, but a bit noticeable in my opinion.

No mintmark means it was made in philadelphia. 5 degrees rotation isn't going to draw a premium.

I want to say i hope you learn as much as you can here this is the place to be out of all the sites. I know I've been to them and this is the one

The coin would have to be at least a 90 percent rotation for it to have a premium

    And welcome to
