First 2 are 2006 CONSECUTIVE Chicago serial numbers IG 00455847 * and IG 00455848 * Don't know much about these because my book doesn't have 2006 values. They are in perfect condition. Then I have 3 2004 San Fransisco Really good crisp condition a few minor flaws serial numbers GL 06448438 * GL 09849627 * and GL 06489621 * The reason I'm asking on the last 3 is because my book says $140 in unc condition. I'm just curious why and do you really think that they will bring that?
im not sure why the last 3 would fecth $170 each ... i mean the print run was for only 512,000 .. but there were many many more then that printed for the GL series my guess is that only folks who like to collect by print run would pay the hefty premium.
The consecutive 06 IG*s are from a short run of 640,000. These would be sheet notes, printed to replace individual sheets as well as to be used for 9999/0000 rollover replacements. (see http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2006_d.html) Nice find, I'd hold on to them. For the $10 GL*s, they're all from larger runs (see http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2004ad.html). Keep them if you want, or keep the best if you want a GL* in the collection. I don't get any premium on them at all. Even a print-run collector wouldn't be paying $150 for a 3.2M run $10 star in CU. KD.... Great job you have.... I was thinking that since you work in a Bank and manage the vault, you should come up with a "smell the Money" scented air freshner. Have you noticed the smell of new money in large hoards of it! That would be a sure fire seller. RickieB
