Over the years I have acquired two coronation proof sets: one of Elizabeth II, and one of her father, George VI. Recently I thought to myself “What was their original price of issue?” I haven’t been able to find much, but that’s what you get with 66 and 82 year old sets respectively. So that’s my question to you all. How much did it cost to purchase these sets from the Royal Mint back when they were issued? Here’s photos of both just for fun.
