I recently got this 58 flying eagle Lg. letters and guessing fine ish but ask for ops on reverse gouge at reeding @7:00 and 11:00 but on obverse is that a cud between CA and is pock mark on tail bottom normal? Thanks for OPS, only a $25 buy but not overly excited! 1858 ob.jpg 1858 rev.jpg

You have a small cud at 11k rev. Which is known variety for the date I dont see anything else that stand out.

You're welcome. That makes four different combinations of the obverse/reverse dies, right? Right. Collect all four, you got a nice little set. :)

While I don't own one, I love that series due to the briefness of issue.
