Question for all: Anyone familiar with the name Lester Merkin? Question for Britain & Commonwealth collectors: Anyone familiar with the name F. Pridmore?
Yep. I've got 3 of Pridmore's series The Coins of The British Commonwealth of Nations. So I knew about him. But one of them has an Ex Libris label with Lester Merkin's name. Just trying to get a feeling of how well known these two were. Anyway, I'm going to try get rid of all of my references that don't deal with US coins. I believe Pridmore's books are considered significant even though they are about 50 years old.
