Questions about $1 serial number

    I found a $1 bill yesterday with the serial number 81333318. Its pretty worn and has a very small tear on the right side, I'm going to keep it regardless of value because of the unique serial. I just wanted to know what the name for that type of pattern is and if it carries any extra value.

    It's a Quad Radar — "Quad" because it has four repeating digits, and a "Radar" because the last four digits are a reflection of the first four digits, for example: 1234 4321

    Nice circulation pull! It's definitely one I would hang onto. Because of it's condition, though, it probably won't command very much of a premium.

    Not a bad Liar's Poker dollar, probably. Maybe better if it had another pair on it.
