I recently sent this coin to NGC for encapsulation knowing that the China/Hong Kong market is hot as the sun right now. I bought this coin is a massive old time collection that included some really awesome stuff that I had no problem with any of it's authenticity... basically it was all really good old world stuff. I picked this coin out because it's really a monster coin... a nice no problem proof coin. There does appear to be a doubled die obverse in the crown and the adjacent lettering definitely not out of the question for the times... I was however surprised when I received it back as questionable authenticity from NGC. Does anyone have any experience with these particular coins?.. is this "no grade" a result of the new Chinese counterfeits? In this coin actually a counterfeit?? I know NGC uses the Questionable Authenticity when they just aren't sure... and don't want to out and out call the coin a counterfeit.

I have had several other coins out of this collection graded by NGC with no problems... This one just threw me for a loop.
