According to the Red Book there were no mintmarks in 65, 66, or 67 on the Rosie.

By any chance is that a Whitman album with a 1960 copyright date?

I have one of those and on the first page are spaces for Roosies from all three mints from 1946-55. The second page is headed "1956-" and has spaces for Philly and Denver coins dated 1956-65D, along with ten more spaces that have no IDs beneath them.

Five years before the Mint abandoned silver for small change, Whitman had no way of predicting either that from 1965 on the coins would be cu-ni clad, or that in 1965-67 there would be no mint marks on coins, as the Mint tried to reduce hoarding of clad coins from circulation as the silver ones were disappearing due to their bullion value.

The original question was why did it show a 1965D when there is no such thing. The answer was that it was produced before 1965, and had nothing to do with whether or not new Whitman albums and folders are produced.

They are, and the ones being sold now don't have 1965D spaces for Roosies, but every time they try to anticipate future production, they risk making the same kind of mistake.

Except for proofs, the "S" mark has basically been extinct for a loooooong, looooooooooooong time, so albums/folders for business strikes shouldn't have any "S" spaces, but who knows when they may decide to use the facilities at West Point (mint mark "W") for some business strikes/non-commemoratives.
