I am looking at 2 wheat cents. Both are attributed as 1955-D WRPM-029. I turn the coins over to study the reverse and guess what - their reverse are not the same die. So my question is this.

    Do I have

two coins that are distinct seperate varieties

    or

two coins that are the same variety?

Okay, same variety, different die pairings.
This was far more common in the early 1800's.
