Over the last two years I have filled two albums with Impaired proofs 71s-16s, but o have close to 200 additional Impaired proofs I’m not sure what to do with. Not worth enough to bother selling I guess. Could bundle them in grouping? Sell the entire lot? Throw them back into the half dollar river? What do you think? Sell or keep?
I've tried to sell rolls of them with no success. I wish you the best. *Maybe* eBay, but I never had any luck. They are fun to give to people as gifts or when purchasing something.
How did you acquire so many? Impaired in the OGP, circulation finds? You might want to offer them up to newbies here for a SASE plus a little extra postage if you are not going to be out too much. Better than impairing further by tossing into the system. Just a thought.
Sell them in mixed date lots; might help a few people finish their Dansco albums without having to crack open sets.
They would be a fun buy-of-the-month at your local coin club. Sell them at 49 or 50 cents each, limit one per member, or two per kid under 16.
Good question. I am trying to figure out what to do with mine too. Not to mention all the imperfect NIFC's stacking up quick. I like the kids at coin shows idea but my boy is usually one of only 2-3 that show up.
