Question. I'm looking at some gold and silver venders online. I notice that some real "reputable venders" have gold and silver coins without a year stamp on them, Why? on back of the silver coins it'll say ("one Troy ounce .999 Fine Silver") stamped onto it. But on the heads side I have seen some American Silver Eagle Design without a year stamp on bottom like most coins. Why did they not stamp a year it was made on it? is it worth buying?? Anyone who know please shed some light on this.
What you are talking about ar called silver rounds. They have no date on them bcause they are not coins. They are just chunks of silver formed into round disks.
GDJMSP, Thanx for clearing that up. Quietly buying silver when I can, incase the Dollar crashes...least I can use it to barter with, for food etc..lol
If the economy truly crashed, I think people would trade food for other food or services rather than a chunk of silver or gold. I know that's what I'd do.
