Curious - since I will only pull a few dollars out of circulation. But I was looking for one of these for a while - got this one a couple of months ago. When I got it I had been searching for one that read forward/backward the same. Not only was I checking numbers only, but I was also checking the letters. Okay - I know absolutely nothing about currency and will stick with pulling a few star notes or radar notes(if I ever find another) out of my pocket. Now the question is - does the letter before and after just make it more interesting to the collector or what? As far as I am concerned it was hard enough finding this one so I do not plan on letting this one go. Just curious what you currency collectors have to say!
Can't really see anyhing on the picture but if it has the same letters at the front and back as well as a "radar" within many would call it a TRUE radar and a real nice find at that! clembo
Yep - I usually post thumb nails. That way the dial-up people don't get creamed with the picture size. I got to admit I had not heard the term true radar. I am going to get me some currency holders next time I go to the coin store. Thanks!
Maybe this http://s209.photobucket.com/albums/bb15/coinmarks/ will work - never tried posting the general album. It is the first picture in the album.
i clicked the image and it did work for me. If the letters match in a ladder or radar, then it is much more valuable because as clembo mentioned, it is considered a true radar/ladder. considering the rarity of these notes, its no qwonder it took you so long to find one. a person just HAS to be int he right place at the right time to get one. I have got a couple/few radars, but i think only one is a true radar. magman said it best Superb!!
