Question on dollars

    On the slab of Morgan dollars it says for example "1880-o s$1". This may be a dumb question but why "s$1" if it is not an "s" mint? Thanks for the help.

    The s is for silver

    yep, S is silver, G$1 is for gold and T$1 is for Trade dollars
