I have a 1996 Spanish 100 (diez) peseta coin. It is known as the "small head variant because of the small hole in the 6. What i can't seem to find is any more info about them. How many were minted, are they now scarce etc. Any info or research resources you might know about would be appreciated

100 is cien not diez which is One Hundred Pesetas.
Diez would be 10 Pesetas ;)

I stand corrected. I was looking at another coin at the same time. I have lived in Spain for 15 years, should have realised what i was writing lol
