Question on a 5 coin silver proof set price

    The set is missing all the quarters. That's were the bulk of the value is.

    Yeah, I realized that but they would still sell for that cheap even if those 5 coins in the auction list individually over $100?

    they are so common that they sell for silver melt (.65) plus a couple bucke for the sac proof and $1 for the penny & nickel. forget the PCGS price guide for most modern coins.

    Makes sense. I know the price guides aren't incredibly accurate but with such a large price differential I had to ask and see what was up. Thanks for the replies.
