Thought and may only be a worn out die on this 1977 D Dime. I then looked at LIBERTY and noticed that the Letters have what looks like a distinct raised area. You can really see it on the "IBER". Any thoughts that it may be more than a completely worn out die? Thanks for the help!
Idk what it is... But in my recent searches I did find some coins looking like that and I asked a friends and he said they were common. I think yours is a little more dramatic than mine were though...
