I have a few fractionals such as this and from my experience, it looks real. These were generally considered in the category of demand notes/bonds, but on a smaller and generally more local scale during periods of recession, depression, or to raise funds for state/local projects.

By the looks of the reveres, I would say they printed these o the backs of some Obsolete Notes...I have seen these before but for the life of me cant remember where it was.

+1 RickieB. That was not uncommon to use the back of obsolete notes, or other paper that may have been lying around. Most of these were printed (depending on the size) in sheets of 10, 25, and up. They woould then sell them to the public as a sheet that could be cut out like coupons, or individually.

Found it in my Southern States Currency book. Florida / Criswell #30A - #30C
Value can be any where from 30-150 depending on condition.

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL!!!! HIGHLY ADDICTIVE NOTES TO COLLECT! I've been collecting Mississippi notes myself!
It's easier to collect one state at a time, and than move to Confederate Treasury Notes!
Get a book, cause they're are tons of counterfeits out there! Yours looks legit though.

    ObsoleteCurrency I like old money.

Your scans of the note are quite good and the note looks 100% authentic. I'm quite sure that if you were to sell it, it would have proved itself to be an excellent yard sale purchase. Obsolete notes from Florida are generally expensive and consequently I don't have any in my collection, yet. I'm jealous.
