first the comment! Just wanted to let you all know that I posted for the first time about 4 days ago. I asked a question about the canadian penny. I had quite a few welcomes and a couple of you even offered to send my son some pennies. Well, low and behold, I get home from work tonite and my boy has a cheese eating grin on his face and an envelope that contained some canadian pennies and some other coins as well as a very nice note. I am not sure which of the two sent this as I don't know your "real" name, but I just wanted to say: You Guys Rock Now on to my question: I am seeing quite a lot of posts about halves, nickels, sacki's, and some dimes. What about quarters, pre 1999? Does anyone get quarter rolls? Anything good come out of them and what are some of the key's? Just courious. Again, thanks for making a young coin collectors month. (an old ones too!) JD
i got 130 bucks in quarters one time-------nothing , for other coin get the rolls and go throught them
Sure get the rolls---you might find some quarters from Canada. I would look for coins before 1964 and any state quarter even though I'm almost not even collecting them much now as I have gone on to other coins----when it gets right down to it....they aren't as neat as they seem..... Speedy
got it yesterday!!! Justin (my step-son) was super excited. Called his dad and asked him to bring his book in right then. (he forgot it). I talked him into waiting until it wasn't 10pm. again, thanks JD
