Hello once again, As you all know I am farily new on here, and have found all your advice invaluable. As you know I am going through my mothers old coin collection she left me. I am in some need of cash right now, so I am unhappily having to sell her coins. The only one I sold so far was that 1932D quarter that you told me how much it should be worth, and now the guy wants his money back becasue somebody 50 years ago cleaned it. But anyway, I wanted to ask that after you guys help me grade or price a coin, would you like to know of my E-Bay auction of it? Dont even know if that is koshier on here, but I thought if you guys would like to bid on them I should tell you about them. What do you think? Thanks, Ron
Ron, Post a Thread with pictures of the coin here before you list them on eBay and we will try to help with the grading and values! Do not post a link to your eBay Auctions here. Post a Thread in the "Auction Listings" Forum and include a list of what you have on eBay and a link to the Auctions. Frank
Yep... just scroll down to "advertising" snd post links to eBay auctions under "auction listings". I see where you posted pictures before... no one picked up on the cleaning, so it must have been just lightly cleaned. The only way to know for sure is to get it graded or have a reputable dealer check it for you. Don't get discouraged... this is a really nice coin, cleaned or not.
Thanks guys. You know if you are a registered e-bay user you can do an advanced search by e-bay seller name and find all the products that have sold or are currently listed. jloring, you could search for my ebay name - edited and see digital pics of that quarter you were talking about. That is easier then posting a link, which I dont think I even have 10 posts yet, to be able to do. Plus your only allowed one post per week. What do you think about that?
Well, you have twenty plus posts... so you are OK there. And even though you can only start one new thread per week, you can link to all your auctions, so that's not a problem either. Just be careful with the titles of your auctions (you list your liberty walkers as dollars... they're halves), and they're in the wrong category (should be liberty walking half dollars, not Morgan dollars). Sometimes this can hurt your sales a little, as buyers often search just the category they're interested in. If I was buying walkers, I would miss your auction completely!
jloring, Thanks a bunch. I added a second category with Halves showing. Did you look at the quarter too?
