Been working on a Jefferson Nickel Proof Set in best condition I can find/afford for the last few years and I haven't bought many (any) in the last year and a half... So, I'm a bit rusty on figuring out what stuff is worth... I'm looking at a 1973-S thats graded PR69DCAM by PCGS... I've been seeing them go on ebay anywere from 23-35.00 and other coin sites for almost that... 2007 Bluebook lists it at 1.00 for a PF-65 2007 Redbook lists it at 1.50 for a PF-65 Neither lists proofs at PF69 or any higher than 65... How do I figure out what a decent fair price for some of these buys are??? I'm not trying to cheap out, but I don't want to pay 10 times what a coin is actually worth...
Check completed auctions on eBay and Teletrade. That should give you an idea of what people are paying.
