I'm looking for any information anyone can provide about NUMISMEDIA.

    Are they reliable?

    >> Numismedia << is an organization, not a single dealer.

Even though the general level of quality is fairly high, there can be clunkers in any bucket of coal.

Dealers, like coins, can only be graded on their own individual merits

I'm sorry. I meant reliable for assesing value, not for purchasing. I was looking at this link and was wondering if this would be good for determining value when negotiating a price for a coin. I know that PCGS is unreliable because they are a bit too high, and I know that Heritage is good... but unsure about Numismedia.

I've said this about a thousand times, but for the newer members I'll say it again.

NONE of the price guides are reliable - none means zero, nada, zilch - NONE ! And yes that includes numismedia and any other that any one can possibly think of.

The only reliable source for retail coin values are realized auction prices. Even the Greysheets only list wholesale prices - NOT retail.

I agree with you. But one can add say 15-20% to Grey sheet for purchasing from dealers; minus 15-20% for selling coins to dealers.

    Do you agree?

I too have to go along with GDJMSP. It used to be that a price guide of any kind was a decent guide but nowadays with the latest mass histeria about coins, the prices fluctuate almost momemtarily. I go to a coin show about 2 to 3 times a month and the prices are really nuts from show to show and sometimes from dealer to dealer at the same show.
