Received my Jefferson UNC gold spouse coin today:thumb: Took lid off paper box that holds wood coin box, front section box fell down never been glued. Mint design box like this? Placed my order few weeks ago, just wondering if I recieved returned coin order? Coin seems to be fine, but packaging seems to be sub par. Cover box that goes over paper box has crease down middle of cover Also coin was not sitting in circle bed when opened, decription sheet was put in upside down and back words. I'm happy to have the coin, ordered many coins from mint, never had one show up packaged like this. Wonder how my late order proof is going show up:rolling:
If you are speaking of the gold card board box, then the bottom of the little gold box is desinged to flip down when you take the top off. Does make the semi wood box easier to remove. For the rest of it what can one say. The way of the world these days cheaper, faster, get it out the door. Good luck on the proof.
