Does CAC use consensus grading with a panel of three graders grading each coin (like PCGS and NGC do) ? Or is it just the one guy, John Albanese, who grades. I tried emailing my question but didn't get a reply (yet).
Fantastic question. I don't know, but I am curious. I love the entrepreneurial mindset. America is a great place for that type of thinking to flourish.
I think Mark Feld would be able to provide the correct information, but it is my understanding that there are a few folks who review the coins for stickerworthiness and that John finalizes them all.
