I recently sent some quarters to ANACS, and paid for 1- day express. The coins arrived yesterday. I was just wondering if anyone knew what type of shipping they used, and how long it takes after the coins have been graded after they have been shipped. I don't think they use USPS, since I only paid 14 dollars for a declared value of 4900 dollars, and the post office charges about 50 dollars for that.

Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to find the grade of your coins, before you get them back in the mail?

    Thanks.

After a good amount of time I usually call Anacs to see if my coins have shipped. If they have shipped or are ready to go, they ask if I want to know the grades and give them to me over the phone.

Most of the time I use the 5 day service so I don't see any "cents" in having to pay $3 for them to fax me the grades before I get them...
When I use the slower service I call about once a month and see how the service is going...it seems like they speeded mine up when I did that ;) ;)
