Seems to me that complainers will spend the most time describing something so I would take the reviews from the BBB with a grain of salt. If you live nearby, why not go there?
I don't understand how the OP, a member since 2010, could have internet access, email access and presumably a method to pay for a coin purchased online yet ......... not have access to a phone? And no, I've never dealt with "Yesterday's Change in Henrico Virginia".
I won't swear to this but I heard that Yesterday's Change was associated with Skyline Coins in Manakin Sabot, Va. Both have similarities in their advertising that makes me believe this is true. They both use terminology like "Premium Quality" which is a red flag for me. Neither usually advertises using the MS system. Premium Quality Brilliant Uncirculated usually means coins are not going to make a true MS grade but are more likely sliders that end up as A.U. coins. I know as years ago I ordered from Skyline and this happened to me. These stores are like Wal-Mart-Big Box type stores that don't have great customer service. This is only MY opinion and should not be taken as an end all answer to your question. Tread lightly, be careful with your money.
I've never heard of them but based on BBB I would pass. There are too many other online companies that are very reputable, reliable and easy to work with.
Interesting based on the helpful replies that were posted here I think they sound like a good place to stay away from especially since they don't even have the courtesy to respond to potential customers
They just started advertising in Numismatic News recently, other than that I had never heard of them either.
BBB is not the end-all for rating a business since many people won't comment if they receive good service: they expect that. But as Collecting Nut pointed out, there are many other dealers without these black marks. Why take a chance? I don't.
I have a "Trac-phone" flip pay- as- you- go purchased for 10.00usd at my supermarket after getting tired of being burned by Verizon for years and glad I did it instead of chasing a battery for my old one !!!
