I've been going through a friend's inherited collection to try and come up with a guess as to worth.

I found a blank copper cent planchet. I assume that it has no value (other than a curiosity). Am I right?

Also there is a 1960 small date cent, uncirculated, that has a small planchet clip at about 7 o'clock. Do planchet clips have any added value?
    (This one is really small.)

Thanks for any info you can offer.

I bought a penny blank for seventy five cents earlier this year. I saw an auction yesterday for a whole roll of 50 for 55.00.

I don't know about the other one though.

Thanks for the info on the blank planchet. I'm a little surprised, but I guess we collectors are a little goofy!

Any info on planchet clips will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

The cent planchets generally sell for around $1, + or - 50 cents.

The tiny clip? very little value.
