Welcome to Coin Talk. He's not calling you a "Bidiot". It's a term used by some members used for someone bidding/over-bidding on a coin that is either damaged but called an error, overgraded, overpriced, etc. A good example is your quarter. There's no way that the quarter came out of the US Mint in that condition. No one who knows anything about coins would consider bidding on it. Peace.
You can see lots of beat up coins like your's on line for sale . You need to learn how to tell a damaged coin from a real mint error. Then collecting coins will be much more fun and easier.
