Purchases From Baltimore Coin Show

    Didn't want to post this in paper Money because it includes a couple of medals. Lucked out and found time to go to the show today.

    Yes, the French Medal looks like it could've come from the French mint.

    It's a very good show. I always ask myself the same thing - how do these guys make any money.
    One dealer told me He flew from San Francisco to Mexico City then to Baltimore.
    Then he's got to pay the space fee which can reach $6K for this show, and hotel and meals then transportation back to SF. And make some bucks and offer fair prices. Several dealers are retired guys I see at the show other years. A lot of the older guys don't use computers and stay on the road and make a good living.

    It's a good show, though not as many large dealers this year. Show Information stand told me the French mint and other European dealers scheduled to attend didn't due to traNSportation issues.

    MPCUSA, I only saw on dealer displaying MPC paper. All were expensive including the ones I bought at auction several months ago.
