Last week I bought this Ephesian denarius of Vespasian from Jay. The coin arrived today and it it a lovely coin. The toning is very dark and so it was difficult to photograph. I was surprised at just how much detail is visible in the photo that is difficult to see on the raw coin. My thanks to Jay for a great coin. Please post your favourite coins of Vespasian. Glad it arrived! This was the best pic I could get of it. It's really dark in hand and not nearly as rough.
