Ptolemaoc Egypt coppers

    2 quite worn Ptolemaic coins, but I'dlike any more information about the coins, I know they're both quite worn. The second one seems to have a countermark on the reverse.

    The green on the second image looks worrisome. Your second coin is counter marked. Like the last post, better pictures with diameter and weight will help. Check out http://ptolemybronze.com/

    That is a very good site from which I'll post the link to one very informative page:

    Go almost all the way to the bottom to the section on countermarks and see what looks familiar.
