I bought this coin a while back yet thought it needed better presentation especially given the history of this coin by US standards. Special eye appeal yet what made it also very interesting is the tag that came with it. Edited by our highly skilled forum member brg5658 - Brandon took the various images I had and made them far more presentable. Thank you. A few combinations of the images, scroll all the way down.

Great piece, and some good photos there. :) Now the term "Saxe-Gotha" on the label I find a little misleading - that country was established in 1640, and divided again forty years later ...

The two Johns (Johann Casimir, Sachsen-Coburg and Johann Ernst, Sachsen-Eisenach) issued several Eintrachtstaler (Concord Talers) by the way - jointly issued coins that show both dukes. See here (German Wikipedia, with some examples).
