anybody ever check this site out?????? go to the coins and bullion section. you will be amazed at what people are paying!!!! let me know what you think!!!!
What I think is that sites like that are a waste of time. Some are even what I would consider a rip-off.
I once spoke with the coin buyer for "property room". He was interested in buying coins from us wholesale. This was back when the property room claimed to be selling confiscated items... It's just another retail coin marketplace... and you can get much better deals elseware.
Newbies that can't even take the time to look the coin up in a book, or look at completed auctions on eBay to get a rough estimate of value.
I joined it WAY back when it first opened. The coin prices were like a typical police auction then, noobs over-paying....some things never change.....other than they now send out buyers.
Wow! There are proof sets, 60 and 63, that two people are going to seriously overpay for. http://www.propertyroom.com/l/bette...tain-franklin-half-worth-up-to-17500-/8255167 http://www.propertyroom.com/l/better-date-1960-silver-unopened-envelope-sealed-us-proof-set-may-contain-franklin-half-worth-up-to-17500-/8255167
