Just found some proof/specimen print by BEP sold by amerishow1 on ebay. Can anyone give me some advice about these items? is it real or fake? In some country, the price of proof/specimen is extremely high, but in the US, they seem to be "so cheap".

    Thank you all

Looking at the sellers rating it should be legit. Looks like the person specializes in paper current. I know nothing about pricing.

These pieces are cut from souvenir cards. They are not proofs. or specimens.

Not the real thing in my opinion. A true specimen not would have a easily recognizable serial number, 99999999 or 00000000 and maybe a 12345678. The note would also contain a control number do that it can be tracked by the BEP and recalled on a moments notice. They are very tightly controlled and used for training purposes when a bill changes design or to show the artwork.

Yours has no such numbers so I believe it to be a novelty note. Welcome to CT.

If these pictures are showing the front and back of one "bill" it is not cut from a souvenir. Souvenir cards are either blank or have some sort of descriptive writing on the "back". It is possible that there are souvenir cards for both the front and back of this design and they are glued together. However these cards are usually printed on a heavier stock and would be very stiff if glued together. I would stay away from that offer, especially if it's cheap.

    These pieces are one sided.
