Was gonna stick it in the world section, but the question is the same for a US coin. Going through my jar of world coins when I found this Canadian quarter. The fields look really glossy, almost too glossy to be a unc issue. So I'm wondering if it's a proof. It's not a silver proof anyway, the magnet told me so.
it does look as if it is proof, im no expert and dont know much about canadian coins but when i get them ( quite often) they arent ever that glossy.
I got a 2007 that looked similar. I think that's how their "MS70" ones look when they come off the line. IMO its simply a MS coin that happens to have a little bit more luster.
