This Morgan looks like a Proof to me, not a Prooflike Morgan as stated on the holder. Is there a possibility that this Morgan is in fact a Proof? Or am I just wishfully thinking? ;)

The '81-S is known for having one of the strongest circulation strikes in the entire series, but there is no record of the existence of any proof strikes.

Essentially all proofs of the 19th c were struck at Philadelphia with a few extremely rare exceptions. 81-s Morgan's aren't one they are known for great strikes and there's quite a few pl ones That's what you got. Probably one of the first coins of a new set of dies.

Does not look anything like a proof to me. Moreover, no proofs were produced by the San Francisco mint in 1881 of Morgan Dollars. From the obverse photo, it simply looks like a well-struck proof like Morgan.
