Will people be lined up to order the 3rd set of Lincoln cent rolls this Thursday. Although I will get some sets from the mint I still wonder if I'am spending or throwing away money when the bank rolls are so much cheaper ? dd:
you can't really waste money if you get them at face value. So the bank is your best bet. I doubt you can get them from the mint face value lol
Though the LP 1 Lincolns are hot, LP 2's are selling at at least mint issue prices. Keep the box sealed and you will at least get your $$ back. The mint has learned that the mint sealed rolls are hot and the next two issues will not sell out.
Ive started with 5 sets of the cabins and then 5 sets of the rail splitters , 5 professional lifes and ill subscribe to the last set too..in for a penny..in for a pound. All from the mint and kept sealed. What i cant help wonder about is if the professional life releases in a few days , how is it already slabbed on ebay ?
Yep , it is . Its amazing sellers are getting $25 a set for them in presale..its not like theres a shortage at the mint.
Thats amazing there selling pcgs slabed professional life coins pf70 & bids already over $100 :headbang:
Glad to hear it Pappy , i havnt a clue what to do with the sets i have other than wait until i 5 sets of all 4 , then maybe sell some of the sets of sets.
Are you never tempted to open some of the P Lp2's Paps ? From what i understand its only the mint rolls that contain the many varieties. More so certain dates.
Was just on the U. S. Mints web site and its showing the Lincoln cent lp2 "formative years" is SOLD OUT . I believe they minted about 267, 530 sets. Was going to grab a couple more sets on thursday when ordering the new sets lp3, hhmmmmm.
