Neighbor sold me a bag of pennies, found this 1915 penny in it. I'm sure its probably just a post mint error...but hey why not make sure ;). Coin has a gouge on the top of Lincoln's head going through "IN GOD WE TRUST". Thanks guys!

    Welcome to Coin Talk!

You're right, just pmd (post mint damage).

    Welcome to CT.

    I agree - post-mint damage.

By the way, there is no such thing as a "post-mint error". An error occurs when or before a coin is struck. After the coin has been struck (i.e., post-mint) anything that happens to a coin is simply damage.
