print shift error?

Hi all. I got this when I cashed my check today. Serial nearly touches the security ink. Is this considered an error?

I like the dollar bill its really nice and a nice #.

 

From United States Paper Money Errors, 3rd Edition, by Dr. Frederick J. Bart:

"For a misalignment to legitimately qualify as an error, a portion of the overprint must rest atop a portion of the design it was not intended to cover."​

So, no, I wouldn't consider your note an error note.
