Primitive 'coins'.

    As the 'Definition of what is a coin' section is digressing a bit,here is a section where one can talk about their primitive 'money' such as the Yapese stone money,wampum beads,& cowrie shells.

    Here is a few more examples of primitive 'money';

    Manilla rings from northern Nigeria.

    Kissi pennies from Liberia.

    Tea brick money from South America.

    silver Larins from the Maldive Islands & southern India.
