Just thought I'd get some opinions on what to tell my wife for the U.S. Mints 2006 Gold $50 Buffalo, and 2007 Gold $5 Jamestown Commemoratives. I'm assuming the price would be similar to the American Gold Eagles 2007 Proof Jamestown $5 - $100 2007 BU Jamestown $5 - +- $75 Now I know the 2006 $50 Buffalo is going to at least be $770... way out of my price range.. blah.. Well I know i'm getting the Jamestowns? any differing opinions?
I sincerly believe that some Alchemist is about to find a way to change Lead into Gold. The prices of all gold coins will plumet downwards. Gold commemoratives will be sent out to be Silver plated to increase their value. Silver type tooth fillings will be replaced with Gold. I will give up my brass hammer for a Gold one.
