I bought an unopened roll of GW dollars, and am just wondering, is it worth buying the rolls? Should I just buy famous guys (Lincoln ect.) all, or none?
buy The way I see it, since you can pick them up at face value, you will never lose any money. There is a slight chance the will bring a premium in the future.
If you can get from a bank get it from there at face value. I would personally never get one from the mint at 37.50 it will be years before they appreciate that much IMHO
I guess I dontt know what toy mean... Where they all somewhat famous??? As in inveastment no.... Because you hope to make a profit, no.... because you like rolls and mint labeled rolls, maybe...
hit or miss I have found them at 4 or 5 local banks in my area. Come to think of it every bank I have been to has had them, although some have sold out and had to order more.
I just watched the Mike "please understand" Mezack show pitching his dollar continuity program. For $100 plus shipping you get two 20 coin rolls and 2 singles; $42 face value. But the rolls are in sealed ICG certified MS63 plastic containers. I'm not sure what value the ICG adds to the package because their MS63 is prolly just BU grade; I can't imagine someone sitting there and looking at each coin. According to Mike, thousands of folks have signed onto to the program, nice profit if you can get it. Thanks, Douglas
