Not that I know of. Just the proof version of the coin. I just think it will be something neat to collect and one day pass along to the next generation. Maybe get them interested in the hobby.
I have a question hey whats up, i jus ordered my proof, it 14.95 from the US mint, anyways, i also bought a MS65 washington error(missing edge) think it will be worth more then 200 dollars some day? also just wondering, have they or will they make a 2007s washington SILVER dollar??? i want it, and i swear i saw it on tv from CSN but i didnt want to pay 89.95 to get it (you could get it if you bought this huge box set thing) so i want it buy it solo, do they even have it or will they?
chances of the silver presidential coins are pretty much at zero. These coins On CSN are probably gold, silver, or platinum plated.
well im seeing a proof70 S mint, thats a gold one, the same one i ordered from the US MINT right? so they most likely will not make a 2007s washington silver dollar.... im only asking cuz i have the 2008 red book and they have silver 2007S mint for washington and admas dollars.
i wait for proof set, silver proof set and mint unc set. that also include those 4 piece of prez dollars. why buy only 4 coin set at $14.95. all those four sets just like offering you 4 piece of prez dollar at face value. silver proof set: before $37.95 current $40.95 (price increase adjusted due to silver upward) plus $4.00 (prez dollars) = $44.95. proof set: before $22.95 plus $4.00 (prez dollars) = $26.95. mint unc set: before $16.95 current $18.95 (price increase adjusted due to new packaging) plus $4.00 (prez dollar) = $22.95. four pieces prez proof set: $14.95.
Unforunately the Red Book made a quite a few errors in their first printing this year. They included this information before it was confirmed by the mint... My 2008 was printed a bit later I guess as it does not have the listing for the Silver Prez, seems they already corrected the error in later publications. A lot of people have pointed out a variety of errors with the Red Book this year, and the Silver Prez is among them. I wish they would do it in silver although it is now highly unlikely that they will be produced.
Prez $ Mint Mark? Any idea which mint mark will be on the coins in the set? Since there is only one of each, will it be 'S'???
