A week ago, I found two sequencial $1 bills (Series 2003-A), I got them as a reward, and the person giving it to me did not know they were sequencial. they are a nanomillionth lower than UNC. Any value, or too new to have a premium?
I get these all the time when a new series is released. I usually put a few consecutive notes aside (kind of like putting aside one of each coin denomination each year, which I also do), and then spend the rest. Although I realize none of them are terribly valuable, I figure that they might be worth something when I pass them on to my heirs in 50-60 years. I view it as the poor man's way of building a collection.
