My grandmother gave me this note long ago. Its signed by GERALD R FORD and dated 5-3-76 It also has the postal cancellation but the stamp is gone. Just wondering if it is worth more than 2.00 ?
If nothing else check ebay and see what Gerald Fords signature goes for - looks like the cheapest I saw was about $8.
The sig might well be done by a machine - you'd have to do your homework on that and compare to known autopen patterns. If real, it has a premium due to itbeinbg dated during his Presdiency. I am not sure the date matchs the writing oft he signature, though, so it might be added by someone else.
